The Opportunities module lets the user asses the economic potential of an improvement in IT services and monitor its progress as part of a portfolio of initiatives.
The user can add opportunities manually or automatically from the leads module, using the “Convert Lead” option. This option automatically generates an opportunity and contact based on the information entered on the lead (As shown in pic below, field mapping is fully customizable).
Users can update the state of the opportunity and review summarized reports and dashboards to track the state of all initiatives until they are formalized into projects.
The following actions are available using the dropdown menu “More” : add quote, add sales order, add events and to-dos in calendar.
Using the tabs for related modules, an opportunity can be associated to existing and/or new quotes, sales orders, invoices, business analyses, events and to-dos in calendar, documents, products, and services.
|How to associate an opportunity to a new or existing project?||While editing an opportunity the user can asociate it to an existing project by selecting a project from the Projects Pop-up. To associate the opportunity to a new project, the user can select the option “+” in the field "projects". A "quick create project" form will allow entering the new project from the opportunities module|
|How to create a new Analysis to manage requirements for an opportunity?||User can add one or more business analyses to an opportunity by selecting the "Analysis" tab from the related modules tabs. Next users selects the option "Add analysis"|
